During the meeting, H.E. Almoayed reaffirmed Bahrain’s unwavering support for clean sport, commending WADA’s pioneering role in promoting fairness and transparency in the global sports sector. H.E. stressed the importance of expanding cooperation with international bodies to keep pace with best global practices in the field. For his part, Mr. Fares Al Kooheji expressed the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s keen interest in deepening coordination with WADA, particularly in designing and implementing awareness programs targeting athletes and coaches to help foster a doping-free sports environment.
