Building a Comprehensive Strategy

The Supreme Council for Youth and Sports has laid great importance on engaging the Bahraini youth and has set this as a priority because of its deep belief in the importance of implementing the vision for our youth of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain. Through this vision we shall harness all possibilities for the development of plans and strategies to enable our youth to occupy advanced positions in the development process taking place in the Kingdom.

This vision and development process is in direct accordance with the esteemed government work program headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, The Crown Prince, and Prime Minister. We at the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports have strived to craft a clear and complete strategy for the youth and sports movement in the Kingdom that will shape the future of its stakeholders as they are the true wealth of our nation.

Our strategy has been adopted to keep up with the developments in the field of youth and sports, which has numerous achievements in various areas and whose members have served the Kingdom as honorable ambassadors at many international events.

We look forward to executing the council’s new strategy which has been based on modern scientific methods for long- and short-term strategic planning with the objective of paving a path to create the right environment for young Bahrainis to achieve their aspirations and hopes.

We at the council hope to provide the appropriate opportunities for our youth to create and innovate in various fields and actively participate in the development of our Kingdom. The launch of the council’s new strategy which has been derived to compliment the spiraling growth of the youth and sports movement in the Kingdom, calls for the development of plans and programs to ensure we embrace our youth and create a paradigm shift in the development of policies geared towards youth and sport. Through this new strategy, we emphasize the continuation of our journey and our support for the application of its provisions, objectives and indicators that are in line with Bahrain Economic Vision (2030). for our Kingdom, which has focused on the youth of Bahrain in various fields.

In conclusion, we would like to renew our support for this strategy by overseeing its smooth execution that will in turn have a positive impact on the youth and sports movement in the Kingdom for many years to come.
