Creating a brighter future
In recent years, the Kingdom of Bahrain has made significant strides in establishing a solid foundation for work based on sound planning that outlines a bright future for the youth and sports sectors. This is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the esteemed King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, to enhance the role of Bahraini youth in the development process and to reinforce the role of sports in deepening national affiliation, as well as positioning Bahrain prominently on the global stage.
Based on this foundation, the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports has been keen to establish an ambitious strategy that aligns with the aspirations of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This strategy aims to create a renewed momentum built on achievements, outlining plans and programs that contribute to the growth of the youth and sports sectors on clear foundations. It draws on distinguished global experiences in this field, responds to the aspirations of the youth and sports community, and sets excellence as a strategic goal to be achieved by all possible means.
In response, the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports has committed to crafting an ambitious strategy that builds upon previous achievements while designing programs and initiatives to foster the growth of youth and sports in the Kingdom. This new strategy is tailored to meet the aspirations of the youth and sports community by incorporating the best international practices and establishing clear, strategic objectives to be pursued through all available means.
To preserve the achievements of the youth and sports movement, it is essential to continue advancing the development and modernization of both the youth and sports sectors in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. This vision calls for implementing ambitious strategies that positively impact the outputs of the Bahraini youth and sports system in all its aspects.
Efforts to preserve the achievements of the youth and sports movement necessitate advancing the development and modernization of both sectors in accordance with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. This vision advocates for the establishment of ambitious strategies that positively reflect on the outcomes of the Bahraini youth and sports system in all its dimensions.
The process of sustainable excellence, which defines the ultimate goal of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports' strategy, is fundamentally rooted in the Kingdom of Bahrain's Economic Vision (2050). This stems from the continuous pursuit of excellence across various fields. Consequently, it necessitates the activation of the strategy's components and translating them into reality, encompassing diverse aspects that consider the various elements of the youth and sports work system. This approach is guided by a forward-looking vision that considers the actual needs for the desired development.
