The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports congratulate His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa on being awarded the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Sports Award.

His Excellency Mr. Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Muayyad, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, extended his highest congratulations and best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, on the occasion of His Highness being awarded the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Sports Award for 2025 in the category of Arab Sports Personality, in recognition of his pioneering contributions and influential role in developing sports and empowering youth at both the Arab and international levels.

Al-Muayyad affirmed that this well-deserved honor reflects the high standing of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in sports circles and embodies his ambitious vision and continuous efforts in supporting the sports sector, as well as his leadership of quality initiatives that have contributed to advancing Bahraini sports and enhancing its regional and international presence.

The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports pointed out that His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s interest in empowering youth and providing a supportive environment for their sports talents has contributed to achieving proud accomplishments for the Kingdom of Bahrain, emphasizing that this award is a source of pride and honor for the nation and for the entire Bahraini sports community.
