Nasser bin Hamad aims to create a generation of academically and athletic champions
A delegation of academically and athletically exceptional students traveled to the IMG Academy in Florida, USA, to participate in the "Future Champions" program launched by the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
Mr. Aymen bin Tawfeeq AlMoayed, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, emphasized that the participation of outstanding students in the Future Champions program at the IMG Academy is a genuine investment in the talents of Bahraini youth to enhance their sports skills through this leading institution in the field of sports education.
AlMoayed pointed out that in addition to the athletic experience, the academy will provide various camps and programs that will contribute to refining the students' talents and developing their abilities to become future leaders, making them more prepared to take on social responsibilities.
It is worth noting that three outstanding players from Al-Taawun Secondary School for Boys have been selected to join this training program: Hadi Mahdi, Hussein Zahir, and Hassan Habib. These selections were made based on several criteria that evaluated the students' academic excellence and their high athletic skills.
